The Animasivo contemporary animation forum seeks to promote the creation, production and mass media circulation of animation, both as works of art and contemporary expression. The project is promoted by the Festival de México en el Centro Histórico, with the triple objective of offering:
- An animation competition for young artists
- An exhibition platform for established artists
- An academic space focusing on animated art.
