Eva Zöllner frequently collaborates with contemporary composers to encourage the production of compositions for the accordion and expand the interpretive frontiers of her instrument. She has premiered over 70 works in Germany and abroad, among which several pieces by Mexican composers are included in an album. In this recital she will perform Episoden, Figuren, the 1993 solo for accordion by Mauricio Kagel, her own versions of other pieces by the Argentinean composer, and the world premiere of La Suplicante by Ana Lara and Ser otro by Rodrigo Sigal, both of them Mexican composers.
